Meet Nicole Bello
Founder, Owner & Director
Nicole is a certified teacher with a master's degree, and she founded Shiny Time more than 10 years ago with a simple belief: childcare and education should work together.
Her background as an educator shapes everything at Shiny Time — from how children spend their days to how families are welcomed through the door.
Shiny Time is proudly a Latina woman-owned business with deep roots in the Bronx, and Nicole considers it a privilege to care for the children of her neighbors in Soundview.

My son attended Shiny Time from age 1 to 3. The daycare staff here is so kind and attentive. They give great feedback on your child's progress. My son was taught how to say his fruits, colors and count from 1-20 in Spanish. They really invest in the children. But, if I ask my son he would say the best part is eating their food with his friends.
